Pakistan’s security forces kill terrorists in two successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out in Balochistan’s Washuk and Mastung districts, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The military announced that the operations eliminated 12 militants linked to what it described as Fitna Al Hindustan. Officials said the missions formed part of the ongoing Operation Rad-ul-Fitna-3, which targets terrorist networks across the country.

Security Forces Kill Terrorists in Washuk

The first operation took place on 5 August 2026 in Washuk district after intelligence agencies detected the movement of six suspected militants.

Security personnel quickly launched an operation and surrounded the group. A brief but intense exchange of fire followed. The troops successfully eliminated all six militants without allowing them to escape.

According to ISPR, the militants belonged to Fitna Al Hindustan, a group Pakistan accuses of receiving foreign support.

Security Forces Kill Terrorists in Mastung

The second intelligence-based operation took place on 6 August 2026 in Mastung district.

Security forces acted on fresh intelligence about another militant hideout. During the operation, troops exchanged heavy fire with the suspects.

The operation ended with six more militants killed. Security forces also destroyed the hideout used by the group.
